After calling the parts website to ensure I had correct part #'s and $'s was told a tailgate would take min 24 hours to order and that the balance of my other smaller 7 parts were in stock. I was told if I had any issues with ordering, just call. As i was driving to Calgary for other reason from Edmonton, I visited dealership and tried to purchase smaller 7 parts. When i got there spoke with web parts guy, told to get $'s quoted I had to order online. I said you told I could call to get assistance with order why couldn't i just get them now I'm here. Tried accessing website by cell while at dealership to order online, no luck, kept going to chat line, who instructed me to call!. Spoke to regular dealership parts guy, who basically was an unobliging dink. Told me I had to hurry as dealership closed at 4 and it was 3. Ended up leaving.
Next morning called the online parts, got same guy i originally spoke to by phone and dealership, ended up working out and purchasing parts. Mostly my fault I'll own that, but some confusion as to why he couldn't have helped me when i was their with parts #'s and payment ready.
The only bad taste in my mouth was the regular parts guy's attitude who just sat there basically with nothing to do, advising that online was confusing and that he'd do the parts for less than retail.
When phoning back the next day, online parts guy told me he had pulled all my parts and was waiting for my online order. Crazy no communication between regular parts guy (who was doing nothing the whole while I was there) and the online parts guy who appeared to be busy.
Just unfortunate I was at the dealership ready to pay but couldn't pick them up then, luckily a friend was in Calgary, so order placed and they'll pick them up.
